Bakery route (21,2km)

https://maps.app.goo.gl/sLfBJFdPk3NAPMAc8

Copenhagen is known for its amazing bakery scene and is not one to miss when biking around the city. Dedicated to giving you a taste of what Danes really appreciate, here is our suggestion for where and how you should eat like a true Dane. Let the bakeries pave the way as you visit different parts of the city.

Start your day at Hart Bakery for breakfast and try their famous BMO. Then make a pitstop at Lille Bakery, where you can enjoy their delicious pigs in blanket. For something sweet, head to Juno the Bakery and indulge in a perfect kanelsnurrer. When it’s time for lunch, visit Andersen & Maillard for their incredible focaccia. Finally, finish your tour at Coffee Collective on Jægersborggade with a refreshing affogato. Cheers!

To share the magic of this season, we’ve crafted a perfect summer day that captures the essence of the city. Start your day with a quiet breakfast under the trees in H.C. Ørstedsparken. This beautiful park, designed by Flindt and Ørsted, is a green oasis in the heart of the city, with winding paths, a picturesque lake, and plenty of cozy spots to sit and soak up the morning sun. Next, head to the harbor and rent one of the Friendship Boats. Glide through the canals at your own pace, and watch the iconic Copenhagen sights from the water. A quick bike ride to Rosforth & Rosforth, and head to the water at La Banchina, a small wooden pier with a natural wine bar and sauna. Dip your toes in the water, watch the sunset, and savor a glass of wine or a plate of simple, seasonal food as the day winds down. Finish your day with biking through Christians for vibes and maybe a small concert. Enjoy!

This route, towards the charming old fisher village Dragør, is perfect for a sunny day without too much wind and there are plenty of cool places to visit along the way.

Follow the path along the inner harbour and find the bike path next to the Ørestad Kanal to avoid traffic lights. After you pass through the suburban area along Kongelundsvejen, you get to the dark side of the airport. In fact, there is a place at Tømmerupsvej where you can stand, just below the airplanes when they land at the runway. Move on, follow the paths near the coast until you reach Dragør. Go for a walk in the yellow-painted village and get some lunch at the fish smokery at the harbour. On the way back, you can swing by Uganda Ismejeri for an ice cream, grab a soft drink at the iconic airplane spotter café Flyvergrillen, take a coffee at Ingolfs Kaffebar or even a glass of wine at Josephine.
